Japanese Excursion: Ping Pong

It was the Languages Week Film Festival last week. There were many excursions happening. Chinese excursion. Japanese excursion. French excursion. German excursion. Zoo excursion! (Why was there a zoo excursion? I have no idea. Some students are probably learning animal languages…)

Anyway, so I went to the Japanese excursion and we watched a film called Ping Pong. All the Japanese students and teachers gathered in front of the school at about 8.45 am. After a bit of a chaos, off we went to the Cinema Paradiso in Northbridge.

The bus driver didn’t drop us in front of the cinema or anywhere near the cinema for whatever reason and so we had to walk there. It was early in the morning and the atmosphere was so peaceful. And there were cafes everywhere…hmmm the smell of fresh brewed coffee and ah, the aroma of fresh baked bread. Ok… I AM HUNGRY NOW!

After 10 minutes of walking, we saw this cinema and went in. We bought popcorns and drinks and found our seats. A Japanese lady then came and gave us a short introduction about the film, Ping Pong. And straight after that, the film started.

The film was amazing. It was hilarious.

I am not going to talk about the storyline and all. If you want to know more about this awesome film, click here. I want to be a table tennis player as well! Hahah.

That’s all for now. Sayonara!
